Example Use: Used to prevent goldfish from being washed away when draining water by removing the drain plug.
Simply place it over the drain to easily drain or stop the water without having to push away your goldfish. The mesh is entirely welded, not secured with wire. Wire-secured types can rust and break in goldfish tanks where salt is frequently used. This is a goldfish-specific design with the mesh attached to the outside so that goldfish do not touch or get caught on the frame. Made of stainless steel, it is resistant to rust even in saltwater.
This was actually used in my ranchu breeding tank.
This is a fine-mesh type that can even be used for fry.
